Stefan Vincent

Multidisciplinary artist Stefan Vincent's preferred way of approaching art is through colour and texture. A student of the Detroit techno way of music, early sources of inspiration were drawn from the likes of Steve Rachmad and Jeff Mills. His path, unlike that of many, hasn’t found him go from playing records to making them, but instead on shaping his extensive catalog before taking place behind the decks, where his productions didn't go unnoticed. Amongst his supporters are some of the world's finest tastemakers, ranging from Jeff Mills to Laurent Garnier and Aphex Twin.

With an urge to express himself past the confines of the 4/4 rhythm, over the years the artist has shown himself to prove more versatile. His approach to music is similar to his work as a painter, which translates his output to dynamic colours and textures, as is audibly present in his debut album Post Melancholy.

Through a career spanning about two decades and having released on renowned labels like Non series, Dynamic Reflection and Token and performances spanning from the jungles of the Amazon up to the Japanese mountains, as well as in legendary clubs like Tresor, Khidi and De School, Stefan shows no signs of slowing down, further establishing him as a household name across the musical spectrum.
