“Shout out to Aquaregia here for throwing for a full decade. They mark the moment with a five-track survey of its signature emotive strain of acid techno. Troma and PERS1 go first with 'Atomic', which is all metallic shimmer and drifting, dubby, floaty propulsion, before Blazej Malinowski's 'Brudnopis' settles into a supple, low-slung groove. The flip widens the scope: Teo Drean's 'Honeymoon Phase' leans into Detroit-referencing orchestral tension and release, while Nicola Dal Sacco's 'Papaia' nods to 90s brain warping hypnosis with tightly wound synth curlicues. Closing cut 'Decades' from 747 offers a reflective comedown that is tinged with requisite melancholy. Rich, heartfelt acid with style.”
